NFK collaborator Cathy Crudden was awarded the John C. Polanyi Award from NSERC. As the Canada Research Chair in Metal Organic Chemistry and Director of the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute (C2MCI), Cathy’s recent research on protecting metal from oxidation by coating its surface with unique organic films has been recognized by NSERC as an outstanding advance worthy of this prestigious award.
