NFK welcomes students from ELEC 345, a new course in Sensors at Queen’s

ELEC 345 is a new course in Queen’s Electrical and Computer Engineering focusing on Sensor Fabrication Technologies developed by Prof. Shideh Ameri. A feature of this course is to expose the students to real, hands-on fabrication at NFK. Over 3 weeks in November, groups of students came to see how sensors are fabricated, taking designs provided by the course and turning them into metal patterns on silicon wafers.
