The Kingston Economic Development Corporation announced Dr. Juan Gomez as a 2025 recipient of a Kingston Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Award. Sponsored by Rockwell Commercial, the Award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, community involvement, and leadership in their fields.
Juan spent many hours at NFK during his PhD in the Chemical Engineering Department, working on microfluidics and SERS-based devices. He is now leading technology development at successful local company Spectra Plasmonics, who continues to perform R&D activities at NFK.
