Graham Gibson, PhD
NFK Lab Operations Manager
Graham Gibson is a chemist by training with experience in a wide variety of fields of research. Before joining NFK, Dr. Gibson was Research Manager at Altranex Corp., a start-up company developing electrochemical processes for the production of renewable lubricants. Previously he did postdoctoral work in the Chemistry Department at Queen’s University in Kingston, focusing on small-scale analytical chemistry in fields such as microfluidics and nano-electrospray mass spectrometry, and was an Adjunct Professor of Organic Chemistry. Author on 26 journal articles and a named inventor on four patents, Dr. Gibson holds a PhD degree in Physical Organic Chemistry from Queen’s.
NFK Lab Technician
Robert Dumont is an electronics technician with a wide variety of experience in electronics, chemistry, and physics laboratories. He was previously employed at Assurant Solutions, Queen’s University Chemistry Department, GreenCentre Canada, and Lockheed Martin Canada. As an Avionics Technician in the RCAF he helped maintain the CP-140 Aurora fleet and taught electronics. Robert has been an author in a peer-reviewed journal and named inventor on a patent, and received a diploma in Computer Networking and Technical Support from Saint Lawrence College.
