The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) recently announced the winners of the latest competition for the John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF). There are 15 recipients from Queen’s University receiving more than $2.6 million. Two of these are valued members of NFK: Dr. Shideh Ameri of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, seen in the photo demonstrating the safe handling of HF to her student Abhijith, and Dr. Zhe She of the Department of Chemistry.
