The Royal Society of Canada announced its 2024 inductees, and NFK users Dr. Bhavin Shastri (Department of Physics, Engineering Physics, and Astronomy) and Dr. Cao Thang Dinh (Department of Chemical Engineering) are now members of the College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists. Inclusion in the Royal Society of Canada is among the highest recognitions a Canadian academic can receive, and this honour demonstrates the excellent work these researchers are doing. Dr. Shastri is quickly becoming a leader in neuromorphic photonics and AI, while Dr. Dinh is a pioneer in electrochemical conversion of CO2 into renewable chemicals.
