
Dan Reddy, Vanier Scholar and master of the laser micromachining system at NFK, is being recognized for his extraordinary leadership at Queen’s and beyond. After founding the Queen’s International Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society (Q-ACS), which is itself an award-winning chapter within ACS, Dan’s leadership has made a meaningful impact on the community with events focusing on mentorship, safety, ethics, EDII, women in science, and sustainable technology. People are taking notice. Dan was recently announced as one of 35 young scientists in the 2025 CAS Future Leaders program, and today was announced as the winner of the Queen’s University Alumni Association’s Outstanding Leader Award for 2025, to be presented at the QUAA Gala June 19 in Toronto.
